NABA-DC has organized a tour of the National Museum of the American Indian (NMAI) Archives for November 17th from 9:30am to 11:45am. The tour will be followed by an optional lunch in the NMAI cafeteria provided by NMAI and NABA-DC. This is a great opportunity to see firsthand NMAI’s large collection, learn about NMAI’s repatriation policy, make connections in the Archives for future visits, and visit with fellow NABA-DC members.
**You must be a current NABA-DC member to attend.** This event will be open to the first 20 NABA-DC members who RSVP. We will keep a waiting list if we go over the 20 member limit. Out of courtesy, we ask that you give us 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel so that we can let those on the waiting list know ASAP.

When: Thursday, November 17th

Before we kick off our first official Brownbag, we’d like to invite our DC summer interns interested in Indian law and policy to a special lunch next Tuesday, June 6 where you’ll have the opportunity to spend one-on-one time with members of the NABA-DC Executive Board. This will be a great opportunity to network and “pick our brains” as we’ll informally share advice/tips on being a professional in the DC Indian law and policy community.
Food will be provided. Although attendance is not mandatory, please make every effort to attend as we will be sharing some important information regarding our summer programming. Please RSVP here:https://goo.gl/forms/
Full event details below. Please note this is an event for INTERNS only. Please spread the word! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
