See proposed agenda here.

Governing Board Elections: To be eligible to hold a position on the governing board, a person must be a NABA-DC member in good standing (meaning dues have been paid) and be nominated for the position at the annual meeting. Members may self-nominate.

The positions open for election are: President-Elect, Secretary, Treasurer, Bar Liaison, and Members-at-Large. Members-at-Large oversee the Intern lunch, Mentorship, Social, and Community Outreach Committees. The number of Members-at-Large is determined at the annual meeting. For more information regarding the responsibilities of these positions, you can review NABA-DC’s Bylaws here.

Voting: In order to vote in the governing board election, a person must be a member in good standing. Members may vote by proxy. A member wishing to vote by proxy must give the Secretary written notice at least 24 hours before the election by sending an email to: nabadc_community@nabadc.com. The notice shall state good cause for the member’s absence and the name of the person to whom the proxy is given.

Membership: If you have not yet renewed your NABA-DC membership for 2018, it can be done online at: https://nabadc.com/how-to-join/. Additionally, dues can be paid at the annual meeting.
